Support BC Flooding Recovery at Archway

The Long Road to Recovery

The BC flooding situation is stabilizing but far from over. As we move from disaster response and triage to the long journey of trauma care, we will be walking alongside overwhelmed farmers, displaced families, distressed youth, affected Indigenous populations, and those whose tents have floated away.

Donations made for flood relief at Archway will support continued access to food, navigational assistance, counselling, legal advocacy, group supports, medical contacts, access to transportation, (re-)employment assistance, and more.

Donations can be made on the secure form on this page. (it may take a minute to load)

How Donations Are Already Making an Impact

As the flooding emergency unfolded, our community and donors across Canada quickly came together for our neighbours as they faced the loss of their homes, livelihoods and sense of security.

Thank you to everyone who helped meet some of the immediate needs by donating to our Food Bank, which was on the frontlines during the crisis.

Thanks to an outpouring of support we were able to immediately help everyone who needed food, including in other communities. We also supported displaced farmworkers and made sure clients had access to emergency supports like transportation and counselling. You can see the impact of the donations in the first three weeks here.

Please note: To maintain online security, Canada Helps processes all of Archway’s online donations on our behalf under Canada Help’s Charitable Registration No. 89656 8417 RR0001.

Canada Helps experiences high volumes over the holidays. If you experience an issue with the form, please feel free to contact us directly at 604-859-7681 and we would be happy to process your donation over the phone. Thank you for your patience and support.

*Your donations are distributed where needed most to achieve maximum effectiveness for the most vulnerable members of our community. All donations will be used for board-approved programs and projects of Archway Community Services, which include 90+ programs for community members in Abbotsford, Mission, Chilliwack, Langley and more.
