Kihci Têpakohp Iskotêw Iskwêw (Emily Henry)
Kihci Têpakohp Iskotêw Iskwêw (Emily Henry) is a Néhiyaw (Cree) person, originally from Ochapowace Band, Saskatchewan. For her leadership role in Correctional Service Canada, as developer of Indigenous programming influenced by cultural interventions and cognitive behavioural therapy, UFV recognized her as its Distinguished Alumni in 2017. Emily follows her cultural traditions and authors blogs about the subject. She expresses gratitude to the Stó:lō people, and their ancestors, for generously sharing their resources and unceded territory with her and her family for the past 25 years. Emily has previous board experience with UFV and various non-profit societies.
