Job Summary

The Maintenance Worker is responsible to and under the direction of the Associate Director of Facilities and provides general building maintenance at Archway-owned buildings.

Your Role:

Archway’s Maintenance Worker with Facilities contributes by:

  • Ensuring Archway-owned buildings are safe and welcoming for staff, clients, and community members.
  • Providing general building maintenance, including, but not limited to, basic electrical work, painting, and minor renovations, building and moving furniture.
  • Replacing lights or rebuilding fixtures.
  • Providing general grounds maintenance of Archway buildings.
  • Maintaining sidewalks and parameters of parking lot.
  • Removing snow from all walks and entrance ways and implements ice melt applications.
  • Setting up and dismantling meeting rooms.

This position is a great fit for someone who is flexible and skilled with general building maintenance.

Our Offer

Getting an Interview–you will be considered if you have:

  • Experience in building maintenance.
  • Building Service Workers certificate an asset.

The Job Requires you to have::

  • Valid BC driver’s license and satisfactory driver’s
  • Ability for constant physical activity and ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • A satisfactory criminal records check is a condition of employment.
