Jacky is known as a passionate, authentic and caring leader who is highly skilled, operates with exceptional capacity, and knows how to bring people together to work collaboratively towards a common goal. In each role, Jacky has contributed significantly by positively impacting employee engagement, enhancing the client experience and accelerating business outcomes.
As Regional Vice-President, Investment & Retirement Planning, Jacky co-heads an acquisition team of accredited Financial Planners in British Columbia. He is responsible for a team of over 160 employees which includes Leaders, Financial Planners and support teams. Jacky provides strategic direction and market leadership enabling his team to acquire new clients and new assets to RBC through the delivery of industry leading advice and planning.
Jacky has dedicated his time and effort of a number of organizations including serving on the board of Archway Community Services as well as leading fundraising & volunteer initiatives with Breakthrough T1D, Covenant House Vancouver, BC Children’s Hospital and the United Way. Jacky is passionate about helping youth prepare for the future. He does this through formal and informal mentoring internally with RBC and externally through various organizations.
Jacky has completed an Executive MBA with SFU’s Beedie School of Business, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) through BCIT and is a holder of the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation through FP Canada.
Outside of work, Jacky enjoys spending quality time with his wife Karin and two daughters, Kiana and Aria.
