Moninder Grewal

Board Member

Moninder is currently a student at the University of the Fraser Valley, pursuing a degree in Global Development Studies. Moninder’s journey with Archway began during the pandemic in November 2020, when he decided to volunteer at the food bank. During this time, he made friends and met many new people, which inspired him to get more involved in the community.

His experience volunteering at the food bank was deeply motivating and led him to further community engagement. He has since volunteered with the Abbotsford Police and have been elected as a member of both his student council and the UFV Senate. These roles have taught him that despite struggling with learning disabilities, life experiences can be powerful motivators to achieve goals and help others.

Moninder is passionate about making a positive impact in the community and would be honored to serve on the Archway board to contribute to its mission and further its efforts in community development.
