Donna Lo

Associate Director of Pathways to Integration for Immigrants & Refugees

Donna joined Archway Community Services in 1992 as a Chinese/Vietnamese Settlement Worker. Her role then progressed to Coordinator, to Supervisor, to Manager to her current role as Associate Director of Pathways to Integration. Donna oversees settlement services, employment mentors, career paths for skilled immigrants, community connections, immigrant youth services, the moving ahead program, resettlement assistance for refugees, BC newcomers service program and the BC Safe Haven program for refugee claimants. She also mentors and supports skill building in budget development and budget management for all program supervisors and managers.

Donna has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Trinity Western University. She is a previous AMSSA board member and has sat on various advisory committees including Newcomer’s Guide, United Way Housing, Community Airport Network for Newcomers, Fraser Valley Multi-Agency Partnerships, Settlement Worker in Schools, and BC Settlement Integration Services. Currently she sits on BC Newcomers Services Program advisory, BC Safe Haven advisory, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada Afghan Working Level committee and Afghan National Steering committee.

To de-stress Donna likes to play badminton, snowshoe, hike and travel with her grown children.
