Laura Midan

Central Operations Officer

Laura Midan joined Archway in 2008 as the Recycling Education Coordinator and spent five years in the role. In 2013 she left for a year and a half to become the Executive Director of Agassiz-Harrison Community Services. Afterwards, she returned to Archway as the Office Manager for the Abbotsford Mission Recycling Program before becoming the Director of Recycling in 2020. In 2024, she began a role in operations management and now oversees our administrative programs as well as recycling and our community living programs.  

Laura has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Communications from UFV, Associate Certificates in Public Relations and Event Marketing from BCIT and a Master of Arts Degree in Professional Communication from Royal Roads University.  

Laura is the Board Chair for the Recycling Council of BC and a member of the Rotary Club of Abbotsford. In the past, she has been a member of Toastmasters and volunteered with the Canadian Cancer Society, Mission Adopt-A-Block and Communities in Bloom. She lives in Harrison Hot Springs with her husband and enjoys spending time outdoors.
