Job Summary
The Interpretation Services Administrator performs day-to-day dispatch operations of interpretation assignments, including scheduling and providing coordination of the proper documentation of interpretation program operations, including invoicing and accounts payables. The Administrator responds to service requests received via e-mail, phone, fax, or walk-in clients. The Administrator assists in the preparation of month-end invoicing and accounts payable data. The Administrator also promotes interpretation services and conducts file maintenance, and other administrative duties as required.

Your Role:
Archway’s Interpretation Services Administrator with the Interpretation and Translation Services Program (ITS) contributes by:
- Identifying the needs of the program for new language interpreters and other current needs.
- Implementing program standards, industry guidelines and policies of the organization.
- Promoting Interpretation services to the clients who contact ITS for service information over the phone, email and at the front desk, and provides information regarding quotes.
- Assisting and supervising interpreters in the field for daily assignments.
- Performing daily dispatch of interpretation services and accurately records documentation of all services provided (including database and on paper phone logs).
- Assisting in maintaining current contracts for interpreters.
- Responding to customers’ complaints and assures resolution to those complaints.
- Performing accurate data entry for month-end AR/AP purposes.
This position is a great fit for someone who has a great attention and accuracy to detail, strong database entry skills, strong organizational and time management skills, and skilled in using Microsoft Office 365 and social media platforms.
Our Offer
- Wage: $25.00 per hour.
- A full-time position at 40 hours per week, availability Mondays to Fridays, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Temporary until July 20, 2026 (possibility of an extension).

Getting an Interview–you will be considered if you have:
- A diploma in Business Administration or other related field, or the equivalent education and/or experience.
- Experience in assisting independent subcontractors (interpreters).
- Experience in customer service.
- Ability to speak, read and write in two or more languages.
The Job Requires you to have:
- Sound knowledge of principles, ethics and types of interpretation.
- Strong verbal, written, and active listening communication skills; able to communicate clearly and respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and varying levels of English.
- Excellent phone manners.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong database entry skills.
- Demonstrated teamwork and ability to work independently.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to balance and manage competing projects and priorities to respond to changing conditions and deadlines.
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Skilled in using social media platforms.
- Able to effectively interact in a diplomatic, collaborative, professional and results-oriented manner.
- Ability to speak, read and write in two or more languages.
- Ability to manage a high degree of distractions, interruptions, and competing priorities, requiring the ability to effectively switch tasks.
- Ability for direct, in-person contact with on-site staff and clients; adherence to health and safety protocols is required.
- Ability for extended periods of sitting and screen/keyboard use.
- A satisfactory Criminal Records Check is a condition of employment.
