The Human Resources Business Partner- Training and Organizational Development provides both strategic and hands-on support across two key functional areas: organizational learning, and HR business partnership.

Your Role:

Archway’s People & Culture Business Partner with People and Culture contributes by:
Training and Organizational Development – 50%

  • Conducts annual and program specific training needs assessments aligned with organizational and strategic priorities.
  • Designs structured learning curriculum, including onboarding programs, compliance training, and supervisory development pathways.
  • Facilitates, and coordinates training sessions across the agency using adult learning principles and interactive methodologies.
  • Implements evaluation and reporting metrics, including feedback surveys, participation tracking, completion rates, and knowledge assessments.
  • Generates regular training analytics and summary reports for leadership, highlighting trends, gaps, and recommendations.
  • Maintains centralized training and development records to ensure compliance with accreditation, funder, and policy requirements.

Human Resources Business Partner Responsibilities – 50%

  • Provides advisory support on employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and coaching for leaders.
  • Supports progressive discipline, performance improvement planning, and documentation.
  • Interprets and applies organizational policies, the collective agreement, and employment-related legislation.
  • Partners with leadership to implement engagement and retention strategies, including data-informed recommendations.
  • Leads recruitment and onboarding activities within assigned portfolios, including job posting development, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and coordinating onboarding workflows.
  • Develops HR metrics and produces reports related to vacancies, turnover, onboarding progress, employee relations trends, and other portfolio data as needed.
  • Note: The duties and responsibilities outlined above are not exhaustive and may be amended, reassigned, or adjusted from time to time to meet the operational, strategic, or organizational needs of the agency.

This position is a great fit for someone who has a minimum of five years of progressive Human Resources experience and a demonstrated experience in training development facilitation and employee relations.

Our Offer

  • Wage: $34.00 to 38.00 per hour
  • A full-time position at 35 hours per week, availability Mondays to Fridays, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Getting an Interview–you will be considered if you have:

  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • CPHR designation is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience in training development facilitation and employee relations.
  • Minimum of five years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years Human Resource Business Partner experience.

  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • The ability for frequent interaction with diverse internal stakeholders
  • The ability to ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • A satisfactory Criminal Records Check is a condition of employment.
