The auction component of the Archway Golf Tournament is going online and is open to the public for the first time. The auction has now started and will be open until June 24th.
Some of the auction highlights include two team signed Canucks jerseys, a VIP dining experience from the Joseph Richard Group at the soon-to-be-opened Tavern on the Green restaurant at Ledgeview as well as many more items. Everyone is invited to join and help raise funds by bidding on items or making a charitable donation.
Proceeds raised from the auction and tournament help support the more than 90 programs at Archway Community Services, including services for families, youth and seniors.
Organizers hope to beat the fundraising record of $50,000 from 2019, which would help make up for the tournament having to be cancelled in 2020.
“This tournament is our biggest fundraiser which makes a significant impact on what our programs can provide for our clients,” said Steve Carlton, Archway’s Board President. “We are happy to be able to run our event again this year in keeping with current COVID-19 guidelines. We thank our staff, volunteers and sponsors for their support in these uncertain times.”
The tournament, presented by Sutton Group WestCoast Realty, occurs at the Ledgeview Golf and Country Club on June 22nd. A total of 120 golfers are expected to hit the course in the sold-out tournament.
