Curious to know more about working at Archway? We’re hosting a recruitment fair on February 24th from 11am to 3pm at the High Street Community Room (room G135).

Archway is one of the biggest non-profit organizations in BC and currently employs over 400 people in more than 20 different locations in the Fraser Valley.

With over 90 programs and services, the career opportunities here range from youth workers, counsellors and accounting clerks to recycling plant workers. Archway also offers volunteer opportunities and practicums for post-secondary students

Archway staff will be on hand to give potential employees information and speak on what it’s like to work there. Archway offers a generous vacation policy, extended health benefits, a pension plan for full-time staff and a caring and flexible workplace.

“As a human services organization, our staff are our most valuable asset,” said Leah Wynsouw, the Director of Human Resources.

There will also be opportunities for new immigrants and people over 55 to learn more about employment services through Archway programs.

Wynsouw herself started at the agency in 1995 after being a client in one of the employment programs. Within two years she moved from a temporary position to the Office and Facilities Manager. As the agency grew rapidly, she had the chance to take on more human resources tasks and eventually became the Human Resources director.

“My story isn’t unusual here. We offer career advancement opportunities as well as training to support our staff’s career development. It’s been an amazing place to work for the last 25 years and we’re excited to share our opportunities at the recruitment fair.

The event is open to all but RSVPs are appreciated. RSVP today!
