ACS celebrated and honored our President’s Circle donors. These President’s Circle members are true philanthropists and they are making a difference in this community as they help others in need.
The guests at this event were just some of the inaugural members of this exclusive club. Some represented their own individual giving, others represented businesses, service clubs, and churches.
If you look up the word philanthropist, the definition is stated as a person who seeks to promote the welfare of others, especially by the generous donation of money to good causes. It is the practice of giving money and time to help make life better for other people. Because of the ongoing commitment to this organization including the food bank, Abbotsford Community Services is able to continue to offer more than 80 programs and services to people of all ages, to people in crisis, and to people needing hope and a sense of belonging.
At the inaugural dinner hosted at Restaurant 62, guests were treated to a wonderful meal and then had the privilege to hear firsthand how one individual’s life, and that of his family, has been impacted by the work of ACS and the generosity of those in the room.
