Recipients of the 2024 Community Builders’ Awards
Sixteen individuals and organizations have been named as nominees for the 2025 Archway Community Builders’ Awards.
Established in 2006 by the Archway Community Services board of directors, these awards recognize the extraordinary people and organizations who strengthen the fabric of our community with their leadership, volunteer work, and collaborative spirit.
In addition to the Community Builders Awards, the Emerging Community Builders category recognizes rising changemakers, those who are younger, new to the Fraser Valley, or just beginning their journey of giving back.
“These nominees represent the very best of who we are as a community,” said Pamela Chatry, Chair of the Awards Committee and Archway Board Vice-President.
“We invite everyone to join us for an evening filled with stories of generosity and impact, as we recognize the individuals and organizations that are paving the way for a brighter future in the Fraser Valley.”
In 2024, the Abbotsford Canucks, BC Muslim Association – Abbotsford Branch, Central Heights Church, Brian Neufeld, and Dao Tran were recognized for their contributions to Archway and the larger community. Gurkeerat Singh Kang received the award in the Emerging Community Builders Category.
This year’s awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, November 6th at the Matsqui Centennial Auditorium. The doors will open at 5:30 pm and the ceremony will begin at 6:30pm. Light refreshments will be served. Tickets can be purchased at Archway.ca/CBA-Ticket.
