The Archway Food Justice Program and Urban Farm have partnered to provide an exciting opportunity every other Tuesday this summer! We will be providing farm tours and interactive activities for community members who are interested in learning more about broader food security and food systems.
Activities will include a farm tour, educational sessions on the benefits of shopping local, how to grow your own produce at home, food security, food systems, and food justice, and cooking demonstrations and recipes on how to prepare unfamiliar produce items. Activities for children will also be available!

Where: 1356 Sumas Way behind Nature’s Pickin’s/Eco Dairy, cross the bridge to the left
What: This drop-in will include a farm tour, activities for kids such as a scavenger hunt, educational sessions on the benefits of shopping local, how to grow your own produce at home, food security and food systems, food justice, and cooking demonstrations and recipes on how to prepare different produce. You will also be able to use your coupons at the farm and pick and harvest your own produce!
