Community Legal Advocacy Centre

The Community Legal Advocacy Centre is currently operating with modified services and no in-person meetings at this time, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please call or email to access our services.

Our clients are individuals/families with low-income levels who reside in Abbotsford, Mission, Chilliwack and Hope.

We provide information, referrals and representation on a variety of issues including:

  • Income assistance – disability applications & appeals, information on rights & benefits, etc.
  • Housing – residential tenancy issues for tenants
  • Employment Issues – employment insurance, employment standards
  • Canada Pension Plan – disability applications & appeals

Eligibility Criteria

  • Live in Abbotsford, Mission, Chilliwack or Hope.
  • Be at or below poverty line.

To Access Legal Advocacy

  • Please contact your closest location to schedule an appointment. 
  • You can expect a reply to your appointment request within 1-3 business days depending on the volume of requests.
