Drop-in Soccer for Newcomer Men
Helping newcomers meet new friends and prioritize health and mental wellness through exerciseDrop-in Soccer for Newcomer Men
The Community Connections Program offers several components to support newcomers to Canada as they progress along their settlement processes within their new community.
A unique program that we offer is our weekly drop-in soccer program on Wednesday evenings. This free weekly session runs in the fall, winter and spring and gives an opportunity for those who enjoy playing soccer to connect with each other and participate in the larger community of newcomers here in Abbotsford.
Players of all skill levels are welcome to join us for an informal soccer game in a low-key, positive environment.
Our soccer program is a great opportunity for newcomers to meet new friends; learn about other community resources; and prioritize health and mental wellness through exercise.
Eligibility
- Adult newcomers to Canada
- Permanent Residents who are 19 years or older and identify as male
