Volunteers provide rides to medical appointments from Abbotsford to neighboring communities

Medical Transportation

Medical Transportation provides safe, reliable, non-emergency transportation to those who live in Abbotsford with medical appointments outside of the city. Volunteer drivers can drive clients as far east as Chilliwack and as far west as North Vancouver. This service is dependent on the timely availability of volunteer drivers.

The program includes:

On-time, door to door service
Reliable and comfortable vehicles
Competent and compassionate volunteer drivers

Who is Eligible: Residents of Abbotsford

Fees

A nominal fee of $0.72 per kilometer will be charged to participants as well as any parking/other related costs.

To Access Medical Transportation

Connect with our coordinator by phone or email. You can expect a response within one week. Registration is required before using the service.
Please provide 4-5 days’ notice, or ideally as much notice as possible.
