Abby Dads Programing

Programming may be offered online or in person and may change due to unforeseeable circumstances. Feel free to contact staff to confirm before in-person attendance.

All in-person sessions are held in the Family Center Gallery at the Archway Laurel Street building (33780 Laurel Street, Abbotsford.)

Weekly Drop-in Programs

No registration required and open to any dad, step-dad or soon-to-be dads in Abbotsford.

Dad Chat

  • Wednesdays at 6:00pm (in-person)

Come chat about life, sports, relationships, parenting, and whatever else comes to mind. Meet some other Abbotsford dads striving to build strong families! 

Daddy & Me (Punjabi & English)

  • Saturdays, 9:30am – 11:20am (Breaks over the summer)

Come join other fathers in the community and spend quality time with your children (ages 0–6). Enjoy fun, free activities, connect with other dads, and support your child’s growth through play and engagement.

Curriculum Based Classes

Registration Required. Sessions are three to eight weeks in duration with one session per week.

Note: Punjabi programming may be offered online.

Anger Awareness (Punjabi & English)

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:00pm – 8:00pm
  • Next group (English): September 3 to October 22, 2026
  • Next group (Punjabi): October 15 to December 3, 2026

Designed to offer tools and concepts to help participants understand and manage anger, enhancing daily functioning at home, work, and in the community.

In Control (English)

  • Tuesdays or Thursdays, 6:00pm – 8:00pm
  • Next group: October 06 to October 20, 2026

Focused on empowering dads to maintain agency and make intentional choices in challenging situations.

Men in Relationships (Punjabi & English)

  • Tuesdays or Thursdays, 6:00pm – 8:00pm
  • Next group (English): Nov 03 to Dec 22, 2026
  • Next group (Punjabi): To be determined

Created to deepen understanding of relationship dynamics and develop effective communication skills.

Conflict Resolution (English)

  • Tuesdays or Thursdays, 6:00pm – 8:00pm
  • Next group: Jan 07 to Jan 21, 2027

Aimed to broaden understanding of conflict, offer practical tools for resolution, emphasize the importance of perspective, and encourage responsibility-taking.
