Help Support the Archway Urban Farm
Sowing a Future
Archway Urban Farm is a local not-for-profit teaching farm that provides learning opportunities and donates fresh produce to the Archway Food Bank.
We host tours and hands-on educational sessions for students of all ages and provide purposeful volunteer opportunities to individuals and organizations such as recovery centres.
Help us in strengthening local food security, sustainability education, and community resilience here in Abbotsford.
We are seeking financial contributions to help us continue this community-driven work. You will be directly helping us feed more people in Abbotsford.
Thank you from the depths of our soil!
What We Do
Education and Opportunity
- Kids from K-12 learn about sustainable agriculture and food security through tours and workshops.
- UFV Agriculture students gain hands-on experience through field trips, and we host many UFV practicum students every season to learn hands-on sustainable agriculture skills.
Real Impact
- Archway Urban Farm donates fresh, nutritious produce directly to the Abbotsford Food Bank. In a time when more and more families are struggling to put food on the table, this locally grown produce makes a tangible difference.
Community Engagement
- Creating many volunteer opportunities for youth, seniors and community members to be involved in agriculture and learn the importance of local sustainable farming.
Outreach
- We set aside one day each week to teach addiction‑recovery groups agricultural skills, creating space for community engagement and fostering a spirit of volunteerism.
