Urban Farm
Connecting people, nature, and foodUrban Farm
Connecting People, Nature, and Food Since 2015
Archway Urban Farm is a teaching farm that grow fruits and vegetables using organic methods. The produce is sold at market and more than a quarter of our produce is donated directly to the Archway Food Bank and other Archway programs.
We are supported through market sales, donations, and grants from generous partners. If you’d like to be part of supporting sustainable agriculture, educational opportunities and providing fresh food to our food bank, please consider donating or volunteering.
Community Impact
Volunteer Opportunities
We create many volunteer opportunities for youth, seniors and community members to be involved in agriculture and learn how to grow and the importance of local sustainable farming.
Educational Workshops
We teach kids from K-12 about sustainable agriculture and food security through tours and workshops.
Outreach
We set aside time to teach addiction‑recovery groups agricultural skills, creating space for community engagement and fostering a spirit of volunteerism.
Skills Development
We work with industry partners to upskill individuals for the agricultural field. We provide hands-on experience in four growing methods including controlled-environment agriculture.
