National Indigenous Peoples Day & Indigenous History Month Events
National Indigenous Peoples Day Event
Indigenous Education: Abbotsford School District
- Date: Friday, June 5th – 9:30 am – 1:30 pm
- Location: Mill Lake Park, 33015 Bevan Avenue, Abbotsford
- About: Explore stations throughout Mill Lake Park that celebrate Indigenous story, song, dance, art and more. All ages are welcome.
SELXWI:CHEL Arts & Culture Festival
- Date: Sunday, June 7th – All Day
- Location: Trethewey House Heritage Site, 2313 Ware Street, Abbotsford
- About: A free, family-friendly celebration of Indigenous arts, culture, and community held in Abbotsford. Visitors can experience live music and dance, storytelling, interactive workshops, and hands-on cultural activities, while also supporting Indigenous artisans and vendors.

National Indigenous Peoples Day – Chillcouture: The Red Gala
- Date: Friday, June 19th – 6:00 pm
- Location: Shxwhá:y Village Cultural Centre, 44692-B Skway Road, Chilliwack
- About: This event features Indigenous fashion showcases, live music, art, vendors, food, and more than 30 Indigenous models in a vibrant celebration of creativity and culture.

Fraser River Discovery Centre
