Every year, Canadian Occupational Safety (COS) recognizes organizations across Canada that exemplify excellence in fostering robust workplace safety cultures. Employers are required to distribute a satisfaction survey among staff to rate their company across a range of metrics that serve as indicators of employee satisfaction. Companies that achieve an overall satisfaction rating of at least 80 percent are recognized as 5-Star awardees.
