Aleta Phelps

Fund Development Coordinator

With more than 15 years of experience in the international nonprofit sector, Aleta has joined the Archway Philanthropy Team to help mobilize support for critical social services in the community.  She strives to ensure that people who need a little extra support can access the resources they need to lead safe, healthy lives.

Aleta has had the privilege of living and working abroad in countries including Myanmar (Burma), Scotland, and Zimbabwe – drawing on knowledge gained through her master’s degree in international development.  Her work is grounded in a passion for advancing girls’ and women’s rights, and she is committed to promoting equity and fostering diverse forms of leadership – particularly among young people.

Originally from Alaska, Aleta grew up with a deep appreciation for the outdoors.  She spends much of her free time exploring the backcountry on foot, skis, or otherwise.
