A 12+ week program helping fathers build healthy relationships with their childrenCaring Dads
Caring Dads is a 12+ week program devoted to ensuring the safety and well-being of children through supporting fathers to improve relationships with their children and end controlling, abusive, and neglectful behaviour.
Through 12+ sessions fathers will:
- Develop skills to cope in healthy ways with frustrating situations.
- Understand how different fathering strategies and choices effect children.
- Increase awareness of controlling, abusive, and neglectful attitudes and behaviours.
- Be provided with strategies to strengthen the father child relationship.
Schedule
- Classes will run on Thursdays from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
- January 29th – April 16th
Cost
- This program is provided free of charge.
Who We Help
- Fathers wanting to improve their relationships with their children.
To Access Caring Dads
- Priority will be given to referrals from the Ministry of Children and Family Development. Self referrals are also welcome.
- To submit a referral, please email caringdadsprogram@archway.ca
- An intake process must be completed to enroll in the program.
