Community Van Service

Fills the gap for non-transit transportation for Abbotsford Residents

Community Van Service

The Community Van Service is a multi-agency initiative that helps individuals and families without transportation reach appointments, services and community and work participation activities in Abbotsford.

Service examples include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting children who are staying with their family in transition houses to go to school.
  • Assisting individuals staying in shelters or supported housing who have accessibility needs or lack close proximity to public transit.
  • Helping individuals and families who may be experiencing multiple barriers or have complex needs with respectful, adaptive transportation services that may otherwise not be readily available through standard public or para-transit services.
  • For medical transportation outside of Abbotsford see our Medical Transportation service.
