Recently, Career Paths participant Mansi shared great news with Program Coordinator, Mary Finch – she got a great job at a local design company, Circle Graphics! Mansi shared:

“I came to Canada in January and felt lonely and isolated. I left a great career as a graphic designer in India and had no idea how to build my life in Abbotsford. Then, I went to Archway Community Services, enrolled in the Career Paths for Skilled Immigrants Program and met Mary.

She helped me a lot to achieve my professional goal. She helped me with all the new skills needed for a job. She also got me a practicum/volunteer training at a design company.  After my practicum they offered me a full-time job! I am really grateful for all the opportunities that I was provided with, especially during COVID-19. I could never have done this by myself. I can’t (say) thanks enough to Mary. I will strongly encourage newcomers to enroll in the Career Paths for Skilled Immigrants program.

I am feeling very excited to work with Circle Graphics and would like to thank Mary and the rest of the team at Archway. Your efforts are above and beyond.”

Congratulations, Mansi! Your hard work paid off.
